You should take the middle path
Some days will be good; some days will be bad
Some days you get 5, some days you get 9; When you get 9; you get excited; when you get 5, you get sad.
Don’t take success to your head, and don’t take failure to your heart.
How do you stay calm when things are going against or for you?
I guess the middle path is the way to go. Don’t get too excited when you get what you were hoping for or get despondent when you don’t get what you were hoping for.
Have you ever thought that if today things go according to how you thought they would go, then tomorrow it is possible that things may not go according to how you thought they would go?
If you become exhilarated when things turn out the way you thought they would, and if you become upset when things don’t turn out the way you thought they would, please remember whether you are exhilarated or upset, the moment is fleeting.
When exhilarated, don’t do anything you will regret when you are on the other side: upset and trust me, sooner or later, you will be on the other side.
Last week I got 9 out of 10 on a quiz, and this week, I got 5 out of 10; I am disappointed, but I realise the moment is fleeting, and I shouldn’t take success to my head and failure to my heart.
